What’s on the Agenda for 2021

Fix the coat closet to be a bit more functional for kitchen over flow brooms and mops. Not very glamorous but it’s necessary.

Put up walls in the new bathroom downstairs so you don’t have to worry about someone coming in from the garage & interrupting you. Way to much information! We have always had a one bathroom house. We’ve managed. When we redid the upstairs bath it occurred to me we were going to be several nights in a hotel. We decided it made much more sense to take that money and put it into having the concrete sliced and plumbing put in to create a powder room. We didn’t even have a rough in. The sink and toilet was put in just in time for the tile setters to start tearing up the upstairs bath, but that’s as far as we got.

New flooring in bathroom/ laundry room in lower level or a painted floor? I haven’t figured this one out yet.

Find an antique door that will work for the laundry room. I love salvage. We need to create a hallway dividing the 2 spaces to get to the garage.

A new Laundry room in the same place. Better Storage and a place where I don’t mind spending time. This space has never been finished and it’s ugly.

Paint the Master Bedroom I’m just ready for a cleaner look.

New Deck floor this may or may not get done.

Paint the Welsh Cupboard in the living room a small project I can tackle myself whenever I feel the urge to get the paintbrushes out. Not yet!

Recover the Kittinger sofa in the lower level room. Strip the legs to show off the beautiful hand carving. I love this old beast of a sofa I just need to make it more me.

Recover or replace the 2 living room chairs. I still like these chairs I’m just ready to get rid of the leather.

The main goal for 2021 is to figure out how to build this little blog and get myself published. That is going to be my biggest focus.

Wow I know I won’t get to all of this I am going to have to pick and choose my battles but now that I’ve written it all down it will be interesting to see how much gets done.

Thanks for sharing my thoughts with me. What goals have you set for yourself for 2021?
